International integrations in general
Abstract
This chapter develops the theoretical core of this book. It begins with classical and contemporary theories of economic integration and proposes an original framework for understanding the maturity of economic integration in post-communist contexts. This chapter extends this theory by introducing the concepts of absorption capacity, institutional resilience, and endogenous reform pressure—placing Ukraine at the intersection of incomplete convergence and external dependency.
