Friedrich Nietzsche and Degree Zero of Morality
Abstract
Nietzsche was not the first philosopher to explore the concept of nothingness, but his work profoundly shaped its contemporary understanding. From Parmenides to Kant, Hegel, and Heidegger, the philosophical lineage of nothingness has been well-documented. Nietzsche, however, highlighted its implications for morality, rejecting conventional structures such as God, religion, and science. His philosophy underscores the groundlessness of thought, paving the way for creative reimaginings of existence.
