Abstract

Enhancing trust in consumer relations can bring enterprise brand loyalty and long-term growth. It can be gained when the ties with consumers are transparent, ethical, and responsible. With the increasing consciousness of buyers, the ecological and environmental aspects of consumed goods should be considered. Moreover, social initiatives, such as fair labor practices and community engagement, are also important. Consumers often choose products from enterprises that are more trustworthy, taking into account environmental, social, and governance aspects. The chapter aims to identify connections between ESG practices and consumer trust based on the literature review and the authors’ survey conducted among respondents from Poland and Slovakia.
