Obstacles to spiritual fulfilment
Abstract
This chapter identifies and discusses various obstacles that can hinder spiritual fulfilment. It explores factors such as discrimination, oppression and essentialism (the belief in fixed personalities) as significant impediments to individuals’ spiritual growth and wellbeing. The chapter emphasizes the importance of recognizing and addressing these obstacles in order to create a more supportive and empowering environment for spiritual development.
