Abstract
Chapter 2 : Of books From the wardrobe to psychoanalysis: On Gay Oedipus: Heteronormativity and psychoanalysis by Jorge N. Reitter : Review of Jorge Reitter’s book Gay Oedipus , based on his own questions: “Can less heteronormative ways be found to approach the relationship between the Oedipus complex and the castration complex (as I intend to demonstrate in this book, the quintessential heteronormative devices of psychoanalysis)?” This is a critical reading, as it points out the limits of what can be reappropriated in the queer/degenerate field. However, it values the wisdom of considering other possible destinations, even within normalisation devices. The power of a tremor: Notes on An Apartment on Uranus:. Chronicles of the Crossroads by Paul B. Preciado: These are notes or annotations, halfway between review and commentary, halfway between article and biographical sketch, halfway between essay and discursive appropriation, halfway between the neologisation of what has already been neologised and the quotation. Halfway between textual performance and plagiarism. These are chronicles of the intersection, insofar as they have traversed Paul B. Preciado’s transition, which is not to say that they speak of it but rather from there, or at that intersection, a meeting of forces and multiple flows. Between them. Between, for example: “the relationships between private and public spaces, between property and the common, between truth and secrecy, between politics and pornography”.
