Abstract

Strategic focus ensures success. This chapter shows why concentrating on fewer, high-impact initiatives produces greater results than spreading efforts across numerous programs. The 80/20 principle applies to educational change—20% of what we do typically produces 80% of meaningful change. Educational leaders can best serve students by refusing to do everything and instead focus exceptionally well on what matters most.
