Abstract

Academic incubators are essential for promoting creativity, building a demanding work environment, and bridging the knowledge gap between industry demands and student skill development. These academic incubators give students access to a professional setting on campus that promotes industry contacts. The literature review emphasizes how little is known about the link between industry and academia in the sector of agriculture, and how little is known about the concept of academic incubators. In the context of Indian agriculture, the current study focuses on investigating the ideas of academic incubators and industry-academia partnerships. The approach used includes a qualitative investigation of the agricultural sector incubator centers identified by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM). The website of AIM and these Atal Incubation Centres, AICs are among the secondary sources from which the data is gathered. The work’s conclusions highlight the innovation in the agriculture sector brought about by the establishment of several incubation centers at the national level, even though these centers’ needs more setup reforms for better results.
