Working Capital Management
Abstract
When it comes to financing business and economic development, the term working capital is extremely important. Working capital is defined as ‘the firm's investment in short-term resources for running the business smoothly without any interruptions’ from the standpoint of financing. Ensuring a company can sustain its operations, pay off short-term debt, and meet its daily expenses are the objectives of working capital management. Keeping an eye on current resources like cash, inventory, and accounts receivable and payable is part of managing working capital. Effective working capital management is essential to an organisation's long-term viability and expansion.
