Just The Same or Just Different?
Abstract
In the following article I will attempt to demonstrate that a historicizing approach to what we now call ‘sexual difference’ can make an important contribution to the breakdown of differences which have carved out a niche within and outside the women’s movement. In view of the current condition of (feminist) historiography, I am concerned here with formulating tentative assumptions based on heterogeneous research material from the United States and Germany.
