Which Difference Makes The Difference?
Abstract
‘Difference’ and ‘equality’ of the sexes is a popular topic among feminists. Points of discussion range from the possible existence of a specific women’s writing tradition (as a result of the Anna Bijns book award for feminist writing) to a specific women’s sexuality (discussions on the compatibility of sado-masochism, prostitution and feminism), girl-oriented mathematics courses, or a separate interest in bio-technology. However, one question arises continually — are women different from or the same as men?
