Introduction
Abstract
Learning as a social process, growth and creativity form the main focus of this story of Dingleton Hospital. What began as a therapeutic community in a mental hospital came to involve wider parameters in schools, prisons and industry. More recently this trend has linked up with the world-wide counterculture which is a response to the abuse of power and authority in our Western world.
