Abstract

Once you and your client have co-created a solution that they think will help them solve their nominated problem, it is important that you keep in mind the idea that before the client decides to commit themself to implementing the solution, they need to try it out first in the safety of the session. This is not an uncommon idea in life. Thus, before you commit to buying a car that you are interested in, you will probably take it for a test drive to evaluate its handling and whether you are comfortable driving it. If you want to buy an item of clothing in a shop, you will probably try it on first to see how it fits you and how it looks on you. Finally, if you want to repaint a room, you will probably buy a few tester pots of paint and apply them to the walls to see what they look like when dry so that you can judge which shade of paint best suits the room.
