Abstract

In their research on the single-session therapy mindset, Porter et al. (2024) found that their expert interviewees all pointed to the fact that small changes that clients make in SST can make a significant difference in their lives. This means that as a therapist, you need to keep in mind that small can be beautiful and that you do your job by encouraging the client to move in the right direction toward their goals.
