Abstract

Individual group members may have individual cognitions about themselves, the group and the task environment ( chapter 3 ). They may reflect upon the goal to be set and the outcomes involved ( chapter 4 ). And finally, it is by communication that these cognitions and reflections are put forward and integrated so that the group may act as one task-performing unit.
