In His Own Voice: An Interview with Professor Harish Narang
Abstract
Sir, good morning and thank you so much for agreeing to do this interview. I think I’ll begin, sir, by asking you about African literatures because I’ve been a student of yours and I have studied African literatures with you and gone on to do a PhD on that subject. So, sir, I would like to know, how did you get started in African writings? I ask this because in India, I don’t think, many scholars were interested in those literatures. And how did your interest in the area develop? Please tell me in detail?
