Transient Infrared Spectroscopy in Gases and Liquids on the Picosecond and Sub-Picosecond Time Scale
Abstract
A novel experimental technique applying coherent propagation of short infrared pulses is investigated. Ultrafast dephasing and beating of neighbouring molecular transitions is directly measured for gases and liquids at several bar pressure.
