Dynamical Aspects of Raman Scattering
Abstract
The effects on Raman and the associated fluorescence of intense fields and the quasi-free rotation of molecules is discussed. For strong enough fields the distinction between Raman and fluorescence is lost. The Raman polarization is predicted to be modified by the molecular rotation.
