Dynamics of Radiationless Transitions in Condense Phase: Simulating Electron Transfer Reactions
Abstract
Several key questions concerning the microscopic nature of radiationless transitions are still open. To explore such problems it is essential to use actual microscopic simulations rather than to fit phenomenological parameters to experimental rate constants. Here we outline a semiclassical trajectory approach which appears to provide a practical and rigorous way for studying radiationless transitions in condensed phases.
