Introduction
Abstract
In recent years, the mechanism(s) by which cancer is initiated in animal cells has been an active area of investigation. In this context, two new important fields of research have emerged: that of “Oncogene” and the other of “Growth Factors and their Receptors”. As it will be seen later, these two fields appear now strictly interrelated and issues in one field may immediately reflect into the other.
