Abstract

This article by Eliade bears the unmistakable stamp of his philosophical mentor, Nae lonescu. In 1932, lonescu wrote: My whole effort at understanding and interpreting political events is based on a precise method. … This method proceeds with the identification of structures and it appeals, therefore, primarily to intuition, to the ability to see. This is not so very easy. ( Roza vânturilor , 300, quoted in Ricketts, Romanian Roots , I, 105)
