Abstract

W hen dealing with significant investments, there should be no purchase of an interest in a company without due diligence procedures. Due diligence procedures are intended to reveal the most possible about the target company, the company in which an equity interest is up for sale. A necessity for such procedures arises when a joint venture is to be formed through the method of a partial acquisition.
