The Development of Social and Personal Education in Wiltshire
Abstract
In the early days, seventeen or eighteen years ago, the scheme in Wiltshire was called EPR — Education for Personal Relationships — it was the Chief Education Officer’s initiative and was administered from the county office and, therefore, was fairly high-powered. Wiltshire has always been very forward looking and wide ranging, especially for a small rural county, in its educational processes within the establishment, even though we may be poor financially.
