Designph Sketchup Plugin

design PH is an extension (or plugin) for Trimble SketchUp, which can make preliminary energy balance calculations and acts as a 3D interface to the PHPP. It can be used simply as a tool to take-off areas from a 3D computer model and export them to PHPP, which can save time and effort completing the Windows’, ‘Areas’ and ‘Shading’ worksheets in PHPP. It is also capable of calculating a preliminary energy balance ( design PH v2 uses the Annual Method for the heating period only, and design PH v3 will use the more detailed Monthly Method, in common with PHPP) directly from the 3D model, allowing a more iterative design workflow and rapid prototyping to be carried out.
