Contracts: Managing Risks and Keeping Promises
Abstract
Negotiating the contract for a project is without a doubt one of the most loathsome, but necessary, parts of the process. It’s not unlike writing the prenuptial agreements before a marriage, when you are deeply in love and ready to commit, but forced to discuss a potential divorce. This is especially difficult for small practices, who often develop a close relationship with their clients. This makes talking about a contract uncomfortable and daunting.
