Abstract
A concern expressed by British architects who have provided feedback for this book is the challenge of working abroad due to cultural and language barriers. This case study addresses that concern, demonstrating how a practice can successfully operate internationally, even from a location arguably even more challenging than Britain: Lille, in northern France.
