Abstract

Work in larger architecture practices in London provided meaningful work experience for Anna Parker, but the strict protocols and the fact that she could not simply make a fast collage or realise her work without too much fuss began to frustrate her. A move back to her home town of Birmingham, in combination with a teaching position, allowed her to pursue her dream to establish an interdisciplinary design firm driven by social ethics.
