Naturalistic Authoring Approaches
Abstract
This chapter describes how tutors can use reading/writing connections to leverage different age-appropriate genres of texts to enhance and enrich the literacy learning experience for readers at all levels. Helping learners view themselves as authors can increase motivation and engagement while developing literacy skills in multiple areas at once.
