Impact and Efficacy of the Cardiovascular Surgery Summer School: Insights from a Follow-up Survey
Abstract
3学会共催心臓血管外科サマースクールは，次世代の心臓血管外科医育成とリクルートを目的に毎年開催されている．本稿では，2023～2025年の参加者を対象としたフォローアップアンケートを解析し，本サマースクールが参加後の進路意識や行動に与えた中期的影響を検討した．その結果，心臓血管外科を志望診療科の選択肢とする参加者の増加が認められ，実技中心のプログラムや講師・参加者間の交流が志望度向上に寄与していた．一方で，進路選択に至らなかった要因や今後求められる支援も明らかとなり，サマースクールがリクルートのみならず次世代のニーズを把握する重要な場であることが示唆された．
