Wystawiennictwo kompostowe i jego przykłady na polu sztuki
Abstract
Exploring compost as a fertile metaphor, the author examines how curatorial narratives should address ecological issues and the climate crisis. The article analyzes artistic strategies that align with the concept of compost exhibition-making. It discusses the Kompost exhibition by Diana Lelonek, the Ziemia Zgorzelecka: Opolno 2071 open-air event, the activities of Grupa Zakole, and Documenta fifteen in Kassel. The text demonstrates how artistic practices that engage local communities and embrace the co-authorship of non-human actors can expand the field of art with new perspectives. The reflections in this article seek to answer the question of how to design culture in the era of climate crisis.
