Abstract

ConclusionsUnder martial law, energy conservation in the agricultural sector has transformed from a sustainable development concept into a vital survival tool.Today, the primary focus is on:• Minimizing energy-intensive operations (transitioning to No-till/Strip-till).• Maximizing digital control (ensuring every liter of fuel works toward a result).• Energy autonomy through the use of biomass and alternative energy sources.• Replacing heavy machinery with industrial drones and the implementation of lightweight electric tractors.Intelligent resource management, preventive maintenance (timely replacement of filters and nozzles can save up to 10% of fuel), and the transition to local energy generation are the pillars upon which the modern Ukrainian agricultural sector stands.Calculations of the return on investment (ROI) for implementing these modern technologies show that for most typical farms with an area of approximately 1,000 hectares, the payback period is nearly one season.References 1.
