Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management on organizational commitment, job satisfaction, organizational trust, and organizational loyalty in sports organizations, providing strategic foundations to enhance their sustainability and competitiveness. To achieve this objective, a survey was conducted from September 10 to October 19, 2025, using Google Forms, targeting employees of sports organizations in the Seoul metropolitan area that implement ESG management.Of the 358 questionnaires collected, 349 valid responses were used for analysis after excluding nine insincere responses.Using SPSS 29.0, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed to derive the results. The analysis revealed the following: first, among the ESG management factors, governance, social, and environmental factors significantly influenced organizational commitment; second, governance and social factors significantly influenced job satisfaction; third, governance and social factors significantly influenced organizational trust; and fourth, social, environmental, and governance factors significantly influenced organizational loyalty. These findings suggest that the realization of social value and transparent governance play a crucial role in shaping employees' overall organizational attitudes.Accordingly, to establish a sustainable management system, sports organizations should strengthen their social responsibility initiatives and develop fair, transparent internal governance structures, thereby fostering a socially and environmentally responsive organizational culture grounded in accountable and transparent decision-making.
