A Short Note on Ecology, Quantum Theory, and Environmental Education in the Philippines
Abstract
The prospect of using quantum theory to help explain ecological events is explored by referencing recent works that use the theory in life science research. A framework of environmental education is proposed that allows for elucidating quantum dimensions of ecology. Some illustrative topics are identified where quantum theory might be used to explain ecological phenomena and environmental states. It is concluded that using quantum theory to explain ecological phenomena and environmental states in environmental education in the Philippines could expand the Filipinos’ understanding of atomic and subatomicl influences on environmental states in the country.
