ON A WEAKLY CURVED INCLUSION IN AN ELASTIC BODY INTERSECTING THE OUTER BOUNDARY AT ZERO ANGLE
Abstract
This paper considers an equilibrium problem for an elastic body containing a thin weakly curved elastic inclusion. It is assumed that the inclusion intersects the outer boundary of the elastic body at a zero angle, and a crack is located between the inclusion and the elastic body. The Kirchhoff–Love model is employed to describe the weakly curved elastic inclusion. The set of contact points along the crack faces is a priori unknown, and nonlinear boundary conditions are imposed on the crack faces. The uniqueness and solvability of the boundary value problem are established.
