Abstract

The implementation of the SRIKANDI application represents a national policy initiative aimed at strengthening digital governance, particularly in archival management and electronic government administration. This study examines the effectiveness of the SRIKANDI application as an instrument of public policy implementation at the Department of Communication, Informatics, Cryptography, and Statistics of West Papua Province. A qualitative approach with a descriptive research design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation review related to the application’s implementation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of the SRIKANDI application has been relatively effective, especially in enhancing the efficiency of correspondence management, accelerating document disposition processes, and strengthening transparency and accountability in public administration. Nevertheless, several challenges persist, including limited human resource competencies in information technology, unstable internet connectivity, and insufficient training and socialization among government officials. Therefore, strengthening staff capacity, improving supporting infrastructure, and reinforcing organizational commitment are essential to ensure the optimal and sustainable implementation of the SRIKANDI application.
