EVALUATION OF THE EFFICACY OF THE NEW SEED TREATMENT RONDASH FOR CONTROLLING POTATO DISEASES IN THE MOSCOW REGION
Abstract
This article presents the results of a two-year study on the efficacy of the new seed treatment Rondash, ME (azoxystrobin 40 g/L + metalaxyl 40 g/L + fludioxonil 25 g/L) compared with the reference products Idikum, SC, and an azoxystrobin - mefenoxam formulation for potato seed treatment under Moscow region conditions. The research, conducted in 2024-2025 on the cultivar Sadon, assessed the development and incidence of Rhizoctonia disease, yield, tuber size distribution, and storage quality. The highest biological efficacy was observed for Rondash, ME and Idikum, SC, which provided minimal infection of stems and stolons. The results confirm the potential of Rondash, ME as an effective tool for controlling Rhizoctonia in potatoes.
