Abstract

Based on the results of testing, the developed oat protection system demonstrated a high level of economic efficiency. The preserved yield varied by year from 4.4 dt/ha (12.6 %) to 19.1 dt/ha (57.4 %), averaging 8 dt/ha (32.3 %). With later sowing, insecticide - fungicide seed treatments are advisable; under early and severe red-brown leaf blotch pressure, two fungicide applications during the growing season are recommended. The highest efficacy in oat protection against seed- and soil-borne infections and the Swedish oat fly was achieved using the insectofungicide Scenic Combi, SC (1.5 L/t) as a seed treatment; the herbicide Basagran, SL (4.0 L/ha) for weed control; and the fungicides Acanto Plus, SC (0.5 L/ha) and Delaro, SC (1.0 L/ha) against red-brown leaf blotch.
