The Impact of Agile Leadership on Supply Chain Management in Jordanian Industrial Companies
Abstract
This paper aimed to demonstrate the impact of agile leadership, with its dimensions (results orientation, working team orientation, flexibility, and change orientation), on supply chain management in Jordanian industrial companies. To achieve this objective, a descriptive-analytical approach was used. The research population consisted of all publicly traded Jordanian industrial companies, and a sample of 30 companies was selected.A questionnaire was developed and distributed to general managers, their deputies, department heads, and employees in procurement, production, sales, and finance departments.Three hundred questionnaires were distributed electronically, with an average of 10 questionnaires per company to ensure coverage of all target groups. Two hundred and seventy-nine questionnaires were returned. After review and verification, eight questionnaires were excluded due to duplicate responses, leaving 271 questionnaires valid for statistical analysis. The results showed a significant impact of all dimensions of agile leadership (results orientation, working team orientation, flexibility, and change orientation) on supply chain management in Jordanian industrial companies. The research recommends encouraging companies to adopt agile leadership. The industrial sector is focused on enhancing flexibility and adaptability within its supply chain management strategies, given the significant impact of flexibility on improving overall supply chain performance.
