Voces que se afantasman: los efectos de lo ausente en El reino de lo no lineal*
Abstract
This article proposes a reading of the poetic voices contained in Elisa Díaz Castelo’s El reino de lo no lineal, based on their relationship with the absent. Accompanied by Jacques Derrida’s concepts of hauntology and spectre, it is argued that the voices in this poetry collection experience a loss that becomes an absence, which, paradoxically, remains in its spectral essence. Then, in dialogue with the ideas of Anne Carson and Svetlana Boym, the yearning mechanisms of the voices are analysed in order to outline them from their desiring and nostalgic impulses. All with the intention of demonstrating that these lyrical characters need to be understood, not only as voices, but also as ghostly voices.
