The article analyzes the transformation of the global order from the Yalta system to a new confrontation, linked to Russia’s 2021 ultimatum demanding a revision of the security architecture. It examines the origins, the hybrid nature of the current confrontation, and Russia’s role as a center of power within the emerging multipolarity.
