Abstract

IE TCD MS 9376/1039: Letter from Michael Davitt, St. Justin's, Dalkey, Co. Dublin, Ireland to Lindsey Bertie Talbot-Crosbie dated 31st May 1905: "You are the right kind of opponent who can disarm your adversary by good temper. I shall consider the advisability of sending a wireless message to Mr. Parks M.P. not to call at Ardfert Abbey unless he is willing to look in here, en route. I hope, sincerely, someday to see you a member of the Irish Legislature. You will be sure to find me in Opposition to something or other, should I also, find a seat in such an Assembly..." Recovered by Mrs. Mary Davitt.
