My lifelong adherence to the principle of the fullest legislative independence for Ireland and seeing that you are about to speak for our Comrade Hyndman at Burnly I venture to ask if you could see your way clear to be present at a meeting in Northampton; in which constitutency I am standing as candidate on behalf of the Social Democratic Federation. I have already put forth in my address the necessity for such legislative independence to be granted to Ireland..."
