Abstract

IE TCD MS 9386/1338: Letter from [P. Bragth?] to Richard Pigott, undated but likely 1881 informing him that he has no connection with the Land Commission: "My dear Pigott I really have no connexion with the Land Commission. I take it that the situation which would suit you is one entirely in the gift of the Commissioners. You ought, I think, to send in your application to them, and if any opportunity presents itself to me I will use it to promote your views. The League ought to have dealt liberally by you in the purchase of the papers."
