Abstract

Digitised version of IE TCD MS 7867/108: a letter written by Margaret C. Osgood, [London, England?] to her husband Dr. Hamilton Osgood (month/year not identified, but approximately December 1905?): "Darling Hammy, Molly looks so sweet in bed, pink bow, silk coverlid, satin bed jacket, your flowers & Grete's on the table. Poor little Molly. her baby tries to get the milk but her nipples are hard to take hold of & he gets into a rage & cries. Your letters are so dear darling. Molly said today "Erskine & I would like to name the baby after Papa. He is as wonderful about it all", of course we wouldn't think of it. He must be named after his father but I love the sweet thought. They are dear children we have good children. Molly wanted to write to you today. Tell Grete I sent some fruit from Harrods, some artichokes, grape fruit, pears & apples... the grape fruit Robin sent to Nonno, I gave Molly some..."
