Abstract
IE TCD MS 9421/2217: Telegram from 'Moloney' [=Frank R. Maloney], Nenagh Town Clerk, Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary to Michael Davitt, St. Justin's, Dalkey, Co. Dublin dated 26th December 1905 asking for an opinion on an election candidate: "Briscoe adopted meeting delegates today as peoples candidate convention what is your opinion of him Moloney Town Clerk Nenagh". Includes a handwritten note in Davitt's hand at the bottom: "Cannot interfere with free choice of local convention by expression of opinion - Davitt."
