Abstract

Each dataset contains femtosecond broadband transient absorption data measured at different pump laser fluence of a monolayer WS2 on fused silica. The sample is at room temperature. The pump laser photon energy is 1.985 eV. The probe laser white light continuum ranges from 1.8 to 4.5 eV. For a preview of the data see WS2fs_200pa_014mW.png How to read and use the data: 1. The experimental details for each data file are listed in the “Datasets and respective Fluence.xlsx” file. 2. Each .txt file is named as “sample_delaystep polarization_pumppower.txt”. 3. For each pump power/fluence, the range of pump-probe delay (upto 5 ps, 60 ps, 1ns) varies depending on the available data files with delay steps of 20 fs, 200 fs or 4 ps. 4. Each .txt file is a matrix with : Row 1= delays (ps), Column 1 = wavelength (nm), rest (nxm) = TA values corresponding to the measurement parameters. 5. To load the data, you may use the example Python script that is also uploaded, named: “load_data.ipynb”. The script can be used in any python environment. numpy, scipy, matplotlib packages are needed. Provide the file name under the parameter “file”. Then “Run” the script to display the 2D color plot. One example is provided for “WS2fs_200pa_014mW.txt” named as WS2fs_200pa_014mW.png
