Background/IntroductionVeno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) is rescue therapy for refractory cardiogenic shock, yet optimal PaO targets remain undefined.Both hypoxemia and hyperoxia may adversely affect survival, but thresholds vary across cohorts.
