Abstract

We have collected raw data of mortality, time to sexual maturity, fecundity, and time to stop reproduction of a widespread soil invertebrate (Folsomia candida) as a response to various temperatures from various publications and the processed raw data were used to parameterise the Lobry-Rosso-Flandrois model (Data_Temperature and R_script_Temperature). The same types of raw data were gathered for soil moisture, and the processed raw data were used to parameterise the three-phase model (Data_SoilMoisture and R_script_SoilMoisture). Additionally, Danish soil types represented in ALMaSS (the Animal, Landscape, and Man Simulation System) are characterised by sand, silt, clay, organic carbon content and bulk density (Data_DanishSoilTypeInput). These inputs are then fed into the pedotransfer function to obtain the corresponding soil water retention curve (SWRC) for each soil type (Data_DanishSoilTypeResult and R_script_SWRC). The source of raw data is noted in the data files, and the method for processing the data is noted in the README files. These data and R scripts can be reused or expanded uses further if see the needs.
