Abstract

Modern healthcare supply systems demonstrate significant fragility and catastrophic collapse during pandemics and climatic crises, revealing systemic weaknesses due to acute shortages. This study addresses this dilemma by proposing a radical superorganism paradigm that integrates decentralized swarm intelligence, where autonomous Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents function through local interaction rules, with blockchain-enabled predictive altruism, thereby enabling transparent and automatic resource sharing. Agent-based modeling and reinforcement learning effectively illustrate emergent self-optimization during simulated crises, whereas blockchain prototyping substantiates smart contracts that provide preemptive, needs-based transfers. Delphi studies reconceptualize strategic human oversight as ethical "hive keepers." A concrete study demonstrated substantial resilience improvements: dynamic supply rerouting in response to disturbances, forecasting regional shortages that prompt altruistic redistribution, and measurable self-healing attributes. The proof-of-concept builds an anti-fragile basis, transcending mere resilience to facilitate active adaptation and collaborative advantage, and providing a crucial, scalable framework for global health security that necessitates immediate involvement.
