Implementation of an interactive ontology-based system for analytical assessment of material and technical support in general secondary education institutions: aspects of efficiency
Abstract
The digitalisation of the education management system requires new tools for effective monitoring and analysis of the resource provision of general secondary education. The article establishes the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing an interactive ontology-based system that focuses on the analytical assessment of material and technical support for schools. The purpose of the research is to develop an intelligent digital tool that automates the process of collecting, structuring, interpreting, and analysing data on the state of educational infrastructure, with the subsequent formation of recommendations for management decisions. Based on an analysis of modern approaches to assessing the material and technical condition of a general secondary education institution, it is found that most of them do not provide a comprehensive vision, are fragmentary, and do not take into account the semantic relationships between the objects of assessment. The expediency of applying an ontological approach is proved, which allows for formalising the knowledge of the subject area, ensuring logical consistency and transparency of data, and improving the quality of management analytics. The proposed system has a modular architecture, including: 1) a module for data entry and verification; 2) an ontological core for representing knowledge about resource support objects; 3) an analytics module for multidimensional evaluation (based on the criteria of completeness, compliance, functionality); 4) a management decision support module that generates conclusions and recommendations based on the established development priorities. The object of the research is the process of analytical evaluation of the material and technical support of general secondary education institutions, and the subject is the model, digital tools and technologies for the implementation of an interactive ontology-based system. The results of the research are of practical importance for educational authorities, heads of general secondary education institutions and developers of information and analytical systems. Prospects for further research include expanding the ontological base of the system, its integration with national digital platforms, and testing within pilot educational districts.
