Abstract

Reimbursement reviews are comprehensive assessments of the clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness, as well as patient and clinician perspectives, of a drug or drug class. The assessments inform nonbinding recommendations that help guide the reimbursement decisions of Canada’s federal, provincial, and territorial governments, with the exception of Quebec. This review assesses crovalimab (Piasky), solution, 340 mg/2 mL (170 mg/mL) for SC injection and IV infusion. Indication: Recommended maintenance dosage: 680 mg (body weight ≥ 40 kg to < 100 kg) or 1,020 mg (≥ 100 kg) by SC injection once every 4 weeks, after 1 loading dose of 1,000 mg (≥ 40 kg to < 100 kg) or 1,500 mg (≥ 100 kg) by IV infusion and 4 additional weekly doses of 340 mg by SC injection.
